Furthermore, they notice a constant noise at the respiratory level, later diagnosed by the pediatrician as silent reflux. This disorder is treated with antireflux milk and drug therapy; it leads to a progressive tendency of the child to anorexia and to below-average growth.

In the first months of life, the child was treated by an osteopath, who improved but did not solve the problem of his head and neck.On July 9, 2026, the parents consulted a doctor for an ultrasound, which diagnosed a myogenic torticollis on the right side.Upon observation, the child appears to have the classic myogenic torticollis attitude, associated with a lateral flexion of the trunk on the right. It is not possible for me to evaluate the comfort position, but upon observation the child presents a visible scoliotic deviation of the dorsal tract with convexity to the left.

Plantar grasping on the right is positive, with associated stiffness in the rotations of the knee, popliteal angle, and heel-to-ear test. On cranial observation there appears to be a slight flattening of the occiput on the right.Palpatory verification highlights a prevalence of oblique catenary points. I proceed with the treatment of bilateral extra thorax, right intra-coxa, right intra-talus, right retro-latero talus, extra.boss 3 on the right. At the end of the first session, the child no longer presents the right lateral deviation of the trunk, and the curve of the spinous processes no longer appears deviated posteriorly. The child is able to maintain a sitting position, but still has stiffness in his right hip and a mild positive right plantar grasping…Given the distance, I plan a second session 10 days apart. The mother reports the possibility of maintaining a sitting position, without crawling, but with a tendency to seek an upright position. He also continues to present respiratory rattle and is associated with loss of appetite.

I repeat my evaluation and this time I intervene on the intra- and extra-rotation points of the right hip, right retro latero talo, right intra-neck, bilateral extra carpus. At the end of the session the head is freer and the right hip is the same as the left at the tests.

Due to constant discomfort and distance, we have not yet been able to continue the treatment. Meanwhile, the mother began classical physiotherapy at the local health authority in her province, after a physiatric examination. The mother later told me about a good track release, but the difficulty with feeding and the unwillingness to crawl remained.

Name: S.F.
